Just shows that a relationship with the same sex has a small chance of working out well...and that's what's sad.

uhm, i think you missed the part that Victor Basa wasn't really gay to start with. A relationship between people of the same sex may seem impossible IF the other is somewhat bisexual or straight. But same sex relationship still can IF both are gay.
